Attorneys

Katie A. Custer, a native Houstonian, earned her Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Finance and Organizational Behavior and Business Policy, from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. After graduating from SMU, Katie worked for American Airlines and Southwest Airlines as a financial analyst. After returning to Houston in 2004, Katie received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law.

She began working for Donn Fullenweider as a law clerk, and upon admission to the State Bar of Texas in 2007, joined the firm an associate attorney in November 2007.  Under the tutelage of the senior lawyers, Katie is rapidly proving herself as a talented and compassionate family law attorney.  She is a skilled law researcher and provides invaluable assistance to Donn Fullenweider and the other attorneys in the preparation of trial briefs, State Bar papers and articles.

As a law student, Katie served on the Board of Directors of Prevent Child Abuse Texas, served as a Child Advocate and worked in the South Texas College of Law Legal Clinic.

When Katie is not working, she enjoys traveling and running marathons.
