Profile

Donn C. Fullenweider is one of the premier family law trial lawyers in the United States – as his impressive list of national and state honors and associations can attest. Admitted to the Texas Bar in 1958, his legal career has earned him a unique spot in the Hall of Legends of the State Bar of Texas. In 1989, 24-years after founding the firm of Haynes & Fullenweider, Mr. Fullenweider started his own firm and joined in partnership with Randall Wilhite. In 2008, they formed the firm of Fullenweider Wilhite to deliver superior legal advice and representation in family law matters.

His experience spans typical family law disputes, and frequently he is sought out in complex, unique and high net worth situations. He has represented clients in every type of family law dispute including child custody, relocation, separate property tracing, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, business evaluation and complex investment analysis. He has tried cases attacking and defending pre-and-post-marital agreements before both judges and juries. He has been accepted as a member by the American Board of Trial Advocates, which requires more than 50 jury trials.

  • Distinctions And Certifications

    As a mentor to and teacher of other attorneys, Mr. Fullenweider has founded many law groups, including the Texas Bar’s Litigation section, for whom he served as its first chairman. He also founded ABA Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute and the American Inns of Court – Houston Family Law Inn. He served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the State Bar of Texas.
